Lydia’s summer bridal session was defiantly an exciting time! As I drove to our session I noticed the sun being swallowed up by some rather large clouds. I turned on the radio to find there was a somewhat of a severe storm about 60 miles from us. I didn’t think much of it, I knew we could finish up our session before the rain hit and I thought maybe only a little bit of rain might even be fun!

As we started Lydia’s session, we noticed it getting darker, and a large storm front was coming our way….it looks erie! The wind started to pick up so I stepped up my game and moved into fast gear. Lydia was fantastic and not the least bit phased by the oncoming storm.

I felt a sprinkle and said “ok we better get going”. No sooner had I felt that one little rain drop then the dust kicked in and blew through the area really strongly (I later found out this stormed produced 80 mph winds! Yikes!).  We raced back to our cars shouting our goodbyes! We both made it home safely though I got stranded…another story for another time.

Anyway. Lydia is gorgeous, her beautiful red rose bouquet by Flower Factory Flowers was stunning. Summer bridal sessions are usually very sunny and golden so the weather was actually a fun change to get a different tone for these bridals.
